Pond is still green. We picked up a different kind of medicine. Hopefully that will do the trick.
Boxes 1, 2, and 3 are pretty much completely planted. We sunk the pond to the first level. May not look like much but it was a lot of digging! Now the water is green. We got some medicine so hopefully that will take care of it. Stay tuned :) Anyone know what this stupid weed (below) is and the best way to get rid of it?
Last week we set up the pond. We sunk it to the first level. It was still a fair amount of digging involved. We went and got goldfish and I put a few decorations from the aquarium for now. We also picked up some plant ponds and put them in this weekend. I will add better pictures to the "pond" page soon but we left the camera in Woodbridge, so it will have to wait. Here is a picture before we sunk it. As well, I planted a tray full of plants that I had from home and weeded most of the beds. I brought home a small harvest of lettuce and oregano and two more asparagus spears.
I am changing my garden layout again. Hopefully this will be the last major change.
I got a new pond and decided that will be the focal point. I will post pictures of the layout shortly. Stay tuned Wow, I didn't post anything last year.
I need to dig out my pictures, where ever I stored them. I started planting this month. I also tried growing from seed in the pods but a lot didn't germinate. As well, I got a bigger pond so need to rearrange my garden. I'm not quite sure of the set up yet. Everything is going so tall. I made two trellis but I still need to make at least two more. I made a tresllis for the pumpkin plant because it was taking over the potato patch. It actually has a little pumpkin growing. Wednesday I had two zuchinni the size of cucumber. I took one home but left the other. Sunday it was over a pound and another one that was only a couple inches was even bigger! The strawberries are flowering again and I had a ripe raspberry. I've been eating green gooseberries for a while
